LG is a huge Korean-Tech giant when it comes to making displays, especially for TVs. The 32-inch Smart TV from LG is a decent offering from a tier-one brand covering the basics and getting them right.

The display on the LG TV is a 32-inch HD panel with a native resolution of 1366x768. Though the resolution on TV might be less LG was actually packed some neat tricks in it. Firstly, it has Active HDR which increases the clarity, color, contrast of the image on the display.  Apart from HDR, there is a Dynamic Color Enhancer which makes every scene look natural with great colors and contrast.

Finally, we come to the performance of the TV. The TV runs on LG’s proprietary OS called WebOS. This is basically an internet-based OS that supports all major apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc.  The processor, RAM, or internal storage is decent and the WebOS runs nice and smooth without any lags.

2. LG 49 inch Ultra HD 4K Smart LED TV

If tier one brand is your thing then the 49-inch UHD 4K TV from LG is the way to go. For a tier-one brand, the 49-inch LG TV packs quite the punch. However, there also happens to be some areas where the TV suffers.

This LG TV has a 49-inch panel as is suggested in its very name. The panel has 4K resolution 3840X2160p. This gives up to 4 times more depth in a picture than the usual 1080p panel. The TV is running on LG’s proprietary WebOS which is based on Linux. Although the level of app support is not as good as Android TV it does support Prime Video without the requirement of special porting of an apk like it is done on some Android TVs. Apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Eros Now will run without any problem and the LG content store will provide some additional apps if required later on.

The TV comes with a 20W speaker good to fill an average-sized room. It is good to see that the speakers have been tuned well to provide surround sound. Other features that the TV comes with are 800+ Voice commands thanks to the integration of Google assistant, inbuilt WIFI, and a smart remote enabled with air commands.

All of this is covered under a 1-year manufacturing warranty for manufacturing defects. LG offers great after-sales service across India so that's a big positive.
